Lal Karaalioğlu

I'm Lal, a pianist from Istanbul. I moved to Germany in 2017, studied in Hanover and in Berlin, where I currently live. Last year, I gave my debut recital at the Beethovenfest, was a member of Heidelberger Frühling LiedFestival and created my TONALi project SILA, which connects my identity as a classical pianist with my roots, questions the meaning of home and introduces the process of finding one's own artistic voice - topics reflecting my ongoing journey and search as an artist.
