Keila Wakao

Hello! My name is Keila Wakao (2006). I have appeared as soloist with orchestras including the Boston, Tokyo, Baden-Baden, and Richmond Symphony Orchestras. My competition and award honors include first prizes at the Schadt, Menuhin, and Stulberg Competitions, as well as the Avery Fisher Career Grant, Aoyama Music Foundation Award for Upcoming Artists in Japan, the Salon de Virtuosi Career Grant, and the Next Generation Distinguished Cultural Achievement Award from the Japan Society of Boston.
