Joel Hoo

Joel Hoo is a composer, improviser, producer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist whose work spans orchestral and electronic music for online media, theater, and film. His music explores themes of nature, time, and the human journey, aiming to evoke deep emotional resonance. A recipient of multiple awards, including the 2025 Midwest Film Festival Award for Best Original Music, he is currently pursuing an M.M. in Film Composition at the Eastman School of Music.
