Dmitry Smirnov

Dmitry is ready to embark on adventures that test his artistry to the limit. His recent collaboration with H.Holliger and Kammerorchester Basel features French Romantic concertos played on gut and includes Smirnov‘s own arrangements of folk music and Lied repertoire. His latest live performances include C. Saint-Saëns‘ Le Carnaval des animaux with Labèque sisters, salon music by N.Paganini with Luca Pianca, concertos by Beethoven and Locatelli conducted by Giovanni Antonini.
