As a composer I bring many different influences into my work. I have written for a range of ensembles and instruments including orchestra, chamber ensembles, jazz ensembles and solo electronics. I grew up playing guitar, piano and singing, and had a career as a jazz guitarist and composer before turning towards classical composition. My music is often inspired by themes that are social, philosophical and spiritual.
