Andrew Samarasekara

British violinist Andrew Samarasekara, 26, is currently pursuing Master of Musical Arts degree at Yale University's School of Music, where he studies with Ani Kavafian. A prize winner at a number of international violin competitions, Andrew has performed across Europe and North America at venues such as Berlin Konzerthaus, Wigmore Hall, Kaufman Centre and Menuhin Hall. He also has collaborated with leading artists including Shlomo Mintz, Ida Kavafian, Ettore Causa and the Emerson Quartet.
