Andrei Riazantsev

Andrei Riazantsev is a Moscow-born clarinetist and pianist, Henri SELMER Artist (since 2024). Based in Basel, he studies MA Specialized Performance (Soloist) with François Benda. In 2025 he received the RAHN Foundation award, a Special Prize at Sinfonietta Bern (Woodwinds), and 2nd Prize at the Online Seggelke Competition; earlier: 1st Prize at Gnessin and Concertino Praga. Former principal clarinet of the All-Russian Youth Symphony Orchestra (Yuri Bashmet), he performs across Europe and Asia.
